Reported and alleged 2

  1. Reported

His family’s firm ran a share sale tied to the government’s $1.6 billion rare-earth investment.

Cantor Fitzgerald, chaired by his son, ran the private share offering for USA Rare Earth. Democrats asked what fees it earned. Cantor says it had no role in the company’s government financing and that the relationship predates his appointment.

  2. Reported

The Republican chairman investigating Epstein, James Comer, said Lutnick “wasn’t 100% truthful” about his ties.

In a closed-door interview Lutnick also backed away from his earlier claim that Epstein blackmailed people (“I was just speculating for a podcast”) and described his island lunch: “It was boring.” Comer said he had seen no evidence of wrongdoing. Commerce called the claims against him “baseless and inaccurate.”
